Wesley Donald Harmon

Wesley “Wes” Donald Harmon, passed away unexpectedly at home, on Friday, June 14, 2024.

Wes was born on October 6, 1963, in Tomahawk, to Donald and Rosalie (Adams) Harmon.

He was raised in Harshaw. In his teens, Wes took to preparing food for the family, which led to a life of food preparation. A beloved Northwoods chef, Wes was well known for his culinary skills and for being a bit stubborn. He, along with his wife Tracy, owned and operated the Rusty Putter located on the golf course at Peck’s Wildwood in Minocqua, The Brick in Lake Tomahawk, and later The Brick in Rhinelander.

Wes loved the outdoors, enjoying camping, snowmobiling, ice fishing, hunting, fishing and boating.

He enjoyed a good campfire, especially in the morning. The rules were simple, absolutely no talking until the second cup of coffee had been drunk.

Wes will be remembered for his passion, being a chef.

Surviving is his wife, Tracy, one daughter, Cinnamon Harmon of Minocqua, two granddaughters, Cadye and Callista Fox, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, his four-legged companion, J.J., and other relatives and many special friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister.

A Celebration of Life will take place later in the summer of 2024 in Lake Tomahawk.
