Ruth M. Schmidt

Ruth M. Schmidt, age 88, of Rhinelander, died on June 17, 2024, in Rhinelander, with her family at her side.

She was born on October 14, 1935, in Rhinelander, the daughter of August and Lucille (Dart) Kriesel. 

She is survived by her daughters Terri (Mitch) Cable, Toni (Mark) Bergeon and Lori (Mike) Cummings, her son Mark (Susan) Schmidt, her eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, her sister Alice (John) Hoffman, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard on December 22, 1971 and her brothers Norman and Edward Kriesel.
