Preparing for the play

Young cast members listen to performers from the Missoula Children’s Theatre during a rehearsal Monday, June 17 at the John and Dori Brown Performing Arts Center at Rhinelander High School for the upcoming musical production of “Treasure Island.” Auditions were held and rehearsals began Monday. The performance will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at RHS. According to an Oneida County 4-H press release, the performance is free to attend for the general public, although donations are appreciated. Sponsors include Oneida County 4-H (the presenting organization), UW-Extension Oneida County, Rhinelander Community Foundation, Northern Arts Council and Culver’s of Rhinelander.
