Oneida County Humane Society announces donation in memory of Snickers

“In the corners of our shelter, where paw prints linger and tails wag, an anonymous donor’s love shines brightly,” Oneida County Humane Society officials said in a recent press release. “With a heart full of memories, she donated $5,000 to sponsor adoption fees for every pet in our care. Snickers, her loyal Great Dane, was more than a pet — he was her confidant, her laughter, and her solace. When cancer took him, it left a void that words cannot fill. Yet, in that emptiness, she found purpose: to honor Snickers’ legacy by helping other animals find their forever homes.”
