Youth Summer Theater Program
Oneida County 4-H is partnering with the Missoula Children’s Theatre to offer youth entering grades 1-12 an opportunity to participate in a one-week, live performing arts opportunity at Rhinelander High School. Two professional actor/directors will come to Rhinelander for one week to direct a full-scale musical starring up to 60 local school-aged children. The cost to participate in the Youth Summer Theater Program is $40/participant. This year’s musical production is “Treasure Island.” The show is rehearsed throughout the week and one public performance will be presented at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, at Rhinelander High School. The performance is free to attend for the general public, although donations are appreciated. Sponsors include Oneida County 4-H (the presenting organization), UW-Extension Oneida County, Rhinelander Community Foundation, Northern Arts Council and Culver’s of Rhinelander.
Youth Summer Adventure Program
Youth entering grades 1-4 may participate in the Youth Summer Adventure Program, held in coordination with the Youth Summer Theater Program. Youth can participate in activities and projects centered on art, engineering, science, and survival, all while having fun!
Registration for this program is now open. The cost to participate is $10/participant. The program is sponsored by the Oneida County 4-H Leaders’ Association and UW-Extension Oneida County.
