Michael John Busche

Michael John Busche, age 70, of Rhinelander, died on May 29, 2024, at his home in Rhinelander. He was born on September 18, 1953, in Rhinelander, a twin son of Raymond and Joan (Day) Busche. He attended schools in Rhinelander, graduating from Rhinelander High School in 1972. After his schooling he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served his country for four years. 

Upon his honorable discharge he returned to Rhinelander where he has lived since.

Michael was employed by the Rhinelander school district in maintenance for a few years and then for Harley-Davidson in Tomahawk for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time but his real loves in life were dogs and his family. He loved his own dogs and any others.

Michael is survived by his brother Jeffrey Busche, his sisters Barbara (Jack) Craig, Pamela Busche and Rita Busche, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother Patrick.

Visitation for Michael will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Carlson Funeral Home. Committal services and an Honor Detail will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the Northwoods National Cemetery.
