Arts for everybody

Artists Witt Siasoco, left, and Norma Dycus Pennycuff have been hard at work creating a bench sculpture to be dedicated on Saturday, July 27 as part of the free “Push Against Loneliness” Community Day at Rhinelander’s Hodag Park. The event is part of the national Arts for Everybody campaign spotlighting how arts participation is good for physical and mental health and community connectedness. The event will be held from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. with the dedication of the sculpture at 6 p.m. at the Beach House. In the Tuesday edition, we erroneously stated that the event is being held on the 26th rather than the 27th. We apologize for the error.
