7 on 7 wraps up

The Northwoods 7 on 7 passing league wrapped up its summer session Thursday, July 18 at Lakeland Union High School in Minocqua.

The Hodags took on Three Lakes and Northland Pines in the final week of play. According to coach Aaron Kraemer, the team went 8-2 in league play, with one loss each to Lakeland and Northland Pines during the five-week season. 

The team wrapped up its summer activities with a four-day camp this week that concluded Thursday. Read more about the camp in an upcoming edition of the River News. 

Football practice begins Tuesday, Aug. 6 for the Hodags and Rhinelander will kick off the 2024 regular season at home against Ashland Friday, Aug. 23.
