Many of the same faces that found victory lane last week returned to the winners circle again on Tuesday, July 16 at Eagle River Speedway.

Among those drivers who earned back-to-back feature wins at the third-mile, clay oval were Eagle River’s Dustin White (B-Modifieds), Pulaski’s Rod Snellenberger (IMCA Stock Car), Tomahawk’s Zack Friske (ERS Late Models) and Eagle River’s Mason Meier (300 Micro Sprint).

Friske fended off a late-race charge from Jason Zdroik in the waning laps to collect his second straight Late Model feature. Zdroik settled for second at the pay window, followed by Travis Friske, Jesse Aho and Josh Nevoraski.

Same as a week ago, White scrapped for the top spot of the B-Mod feature in the early going with Michigan ace Dave Dishaw. After a mid-race spin Dishaw recovered to place fourth after storming through the field in the second half of the contest. Last season’s rookie-of-the-year Ryan Brown of Eagle River placed second followed by another Michigander, Kory Joliff.

Shawano’s Tommy Rindt rounded out the top five finishers.

Snellenberger whisked past Jordan Kurtti for the lead at the halfway point and kept the lead on a lap 11 restart to scored another IMCA Stock Car feature win. Hometown driver Jonathan Miller finished second, followed by Kurtti, Jesse Krahn and Jason Zdroik.

Rookie Blake Joslin of Rhinelander executed a last-lap pass to win his first career 600 Micro Sprint feature. The race went green to checkered without a caution.

Sugar Camp’s Hope Eisel grabbed the lead in the street stock feature with just a handful of laps remaining to score the win. Prentice’s Brent Mindock scored a clean sweep in the pure stock class.

Meier snagged the lead on lap one and never looked back and won the 300 Micro Pro feature. With his heat win earlier Meier netted yet another clean sweep on the season.

In Semi Pro 300 Micro action the feature win went to Addison Dishaw of Ontonagon, Mich. Like Meier, Dishaw also scored a clean sweep with an earlier heat win.
