Northland Pines field house transformed in preparation for Praise in the Pines music festival

Music lovers, rejoice! The highly anticipated Praise in the Pines indoor music festival is set to take place on July 21 at Northland Pines High School. With the unpredictable Northwoods weather, attendees can enjoy a worry-free experience as they revel in a night of inspiring performances, organizers said in a press release.

The festival’s main event will feature acclaimed artists Big Daddy Weave, Austin French, and Hannah Kerr, along with a captivating message from speaker Bob Lenz. These performances will be held in the transformed field house, promising a concert experience like no other.

“The field house, with a capacity of over 2,000 people, provides an excellent opportunity for families and friends to come together for this life-changing event,” the release states. “Transforming the field house into a top-tier concert venue is no small feat. Organizers have pulled out all the stops to ensure everyone will have a great experience for this unforgettable show.”

Jim and Beth Logan, event producers who live in Eagle River, said “the key to a wonderful experience is in the details. Many people don’t know the countless hours of planning that go into an event like this — it ranges from initially negotiating with the talent to developing a detailed floor plan that identifies every seat, every point where we hang speakers, exact stage placement, where to hang the video walls, camera placement, every cable run and more.  We even had to figure out how to cover the 21 windows in the field house so everyone could enjoy the light show. Technology lets us shade the sound in zones over the audience, so it is not too loud in front and clearly audible in the back. Everything must be planned before the crew arrives. The transformation of the field house into a first-class concert venue will be magical. We want everyone to have a good time while bringing heart, spirit, and community together!
