Cycling Without Age fundraiser July 23
A fundraiser for Cycling Without Age (CWA) will take place on Tuesday, July 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Riverview Park in Eagle River (enter behind Kwik Trip.)
“All ages are welcome to join us for fun, food, free trishaw rides and great raffle prizes,” organizers said in a press release. “Meet your CWA team and Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) team. Trishaw pilots will be providing free rides on the trishaws. While you wait for your ride, meet our team members, enjoy a brat or hot dog and purchase a raffle ticket. Raffle prizes will include but are not limited to Your Boat Club in Eagle River: three boat rentals ($400 value each), or four bike rentals ($80 value each). Eagle River and Three Lakes area businesses have generously donated a variety of raffle prizes. Learn about CWA and the benefit it brings to our communities. Donations to CWA will be gratefully accepted.”
CWA-Vilas, Oneida is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization bringing trishaw rides to older adults and people with special abilities providing the opportunity to experience the outdoors, biking and the right to feel the wind in their hair, the release states.
