Hodag Food Wagon returns

The YMCA of the Northwoods is once again partnering with the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry, UW Extension Food Wise, and the Rhinelander District Library on a hunger relief effort. Together, the group has kicked off the fourth annual Hodag Food Wagon.

The Hodag Food Wagon is a free summer food distribution for youth every Thursday from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. throughout the summer, organizers explained in a press release. 

The distribution will be outside the library. 

“We will be distributing a bag of mostly non-perishable food items along with some other items available such as fresh fruit,” the release states. “If you or someone you know may be in need, we are here to help!”
