Karen Sue Fath

Karen Sue Fath passed away on Saturday morning, July 6, 2024, with family at her side at Aspirus Howard Young Medical Center.

Karen was born in Rhinelander on December 26, 1963, to Donald A. and Deanna M. (Keso) Biesik. She was raised in Rhinelander and was a 1981 graduate of Rhinelander High School. While in high school, Karen met her future husband, Curtis Fath. The couple were united in marriage in 1989 at the Oneida County Courthouse. The couple continued to live in Rhinelander. Karen has been a Home Health Care Aid for many years. 

She enjoyed playing bingo at the V.F.W. and at casinos, playing computer games and games on her phone, fishing at Hat Rapids, Rainbow Flowage, and Lake Tomahawk, to mention a few. Karen also liked to go berry picking. 

She will be dearly missed by her husband, Curtis, daughter, Ashley Fath (Josh Cady), granddaughter, Riley Cady, mother, Deanna Biesik, sisters, Sid (Robert) Tritten, Marcia (Bryan) Fourt, Becky Rick, Cheryl Biesik, and a brother-in-law, Greg Eatherly. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.  

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Biesik, a grandchild, and two sisters, Greta Ann Eatherly and Dinah Ann Colson. 

The visitation for Karen will take place on Friday, July 19, 2024, at the Hildebrand Funeral Home from noon until the 4 p.m. funeral service.

Chaplain John Uhlarik will officiate.  

Inurnment will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, at noon at Northland Memorial Park Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery by 11:45 a.m.
