Robert F. Seidel

Robert F. Seidel, age 74, of Rhinelander, died on July 1, 2024 at Wausau Aspirus Hospital in Wausau. He was born on December 21, 1949, in Rhinelander, the son of Reynold and Edna (Greunke) Seidel.

He graduated from the Lutheran High School in New Ulm, Minnesota and then received his Associate’s Degree from Nicolet College in Rhinelander.

Bob worked for the Rhinelander Paper Company for over 36 years before retiring in 2006. He married the former JoAnn Peter on May 19,1973 and God blessed them with 51 years of marriage.

Bob was a lifelong member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and he was a former member of the church council. In his spare time he enjoyed traveling, fishing and golfing. He also enjoyed taking care of his home and the many projects that it entailed.

Bob is survived by his wife, JoAnn. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private family services were held for Bob with the Reverend Karl Schultz officiating. Interment will take place in the Forest Home Cemetery. You may leave your private condolences for his family at www.carlsonfh.com.
