Kathleen Mary Pierce

Kathleen M. Pierce, age 75, a Rhinelander resident of 23 years, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Seasons of Life (Hospice House) in Woodruff.

Kathy was born on July 18, 1948, in Danville, Ill. She graduated from St. Charles (Illinois) High School, on June 10, 1966. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College, Columbia, Missouri, on October 6, 1994. Kathy married James Pierce on November 5, 1971. She and Jim moved to Rhinelander in 2001, where they enjoyed their lakefront home. Kathy was an avid gardener, local volunteer, loved books, crafts, and especially taking motorcycle trips with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Betty Forkins, her brother, Michael Forkins, and brother, Timothy Forkins.

She is survived by her husband, Jim, sister, Pat Brucker (Glenn), and a sister, Theresa Phillips (Robert).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services, 520 N 32nd Avenue, Wausau, Wisconsin, 54401.
