Nicole Marie Pelletier

Nicole Marie Pelletier, age 50, of Rhinelander, died on January 10, 2024, in Rhinelander.

She was born on December 13, 1973, in Hartford, the daughter of Richard and Kathleen (Paschke) Trotter. She graduated from West Bend West High School in 1992 and then attended Morraine Technical School in Fond du Lac and Nicolet College in Rhinelander where she received a degree in Police Science.

On October 31, 1997 Nicole married Mark Pelletier in West Bend and they made their home in Rhinelander where she has lived since. She had been employed by McDonalds, the Tri-County Council and Shopko. Presently, she was employed as a manager at Hardees in Rhinelander. She always looked for employment that allowed her to help people.

Nicole loved learning and read constantly. She loved her pets and often took in any stray that she came across. Halloween was by far her favorite time of year and she was known for cooking for “an army” even if it was just her family. They ate plenty of leftovers!

Above all else Nicole left an impression on each and every person that was a part of her life and she will be missed by many.

Nicole is survived by her husband Mark, her daughter Kiley Pelletier, her dad Richard Trotter, her brother Roy Trotter, her mother-in-law Katherine Pelletier, her two nephews and her niece. 

She was preceded in death by her mom, Kathleen Trotter.

Visitation for Nicole will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Carlson Funeral Home. A memorial is being established in her name and any gifts may be directed to her family. You may leave your private condolences for the family at www.carlsonfh.com.
