Cardio kickboxing class to be held in Hodag Dome

The School District of Rhinelander Community Education Program will offering a brand new class with a new instructor. Cardio Kickboxing with certified instructor Terri Wilmot is being offered in the Hodag Dome starting Jan. 22.

The class will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. Mondays from Jan. 22 to March 4, with no class on Feb. 12.

“This class will involve a martial arts-inspired workout that mixes kickboxing moves with a great cardio workout,” the district stated in a press release. “Using punches, blocks, and kicks to get an overall body workout while burning calories and toning muscles, along with increasing balance, flexibility, and agility. All moves can be modified to fit your fitness level. No experience necessary. Come out and try this hottest new fitness craze!”

The class is geared for adults and high school-aged students. Terri Wilmot, Certified ACE Group Fitness Instructor and ISSA Certified Kickboxing Instructor will be the instructor. The cost is $25 per person and the registration deadline is Jan. 18.
