Dee Bisbing, age 60, of Rhinelander, died on December 23, 2023 at the Tomahawk Health Services after a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born on December 6, 1963, in Milwaukee, the daughter of John and Bonnie (Condella) Bisbing.
She later moved to Rhinelander and attended schools there. After graduating from Rhinelander High School in 1982 she attended college at the University of Wisconsin – Stout. She received a BS Degree in Industrial Technology and Graphic Arts. Her ability to use her degrees was limited by her health complications because of the MS.
Dee lived with her mother who was also her caretaker and best friend. She was an avid Packers and Brewers fan, and the two of them enjoyed watching many games together. They could get quite vocal at times, especially when the games weren’t going the way they wanted them to. She loved her pets, hitting the casino when she could, and always enjoyed a good joke. Earlier in life she enjoyed downhill skiing, photography and swimming.
Dee is survived by her father John, her brother Donald Bisbing, other family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Bonnie and her stepdad Charles Wittrock.
She made many friends at Tomahawk Health Services and will be greatly missed.
There will be a visitation for Dee on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 10 a.m. to noon with a memorial service following at noon all at the Carlson Funeral Home. Chaplain John Uhlarik will be officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in Dee’s name and any gifts may be sent to her family.
