Hodag basketball Back on top

The Rhinelander High School boys’ basketball team won its first Great Northern Conference championship in six years Thursday night, Feb. 22. 2024, defeating Medford 50-45 at the Jim Miazga Community Gymnasium. The Hodags entered the night in a three-way tie for first in the standings with Mosinee and Medford. Rhinelander will share the conference title with Mosinee, which defeated Lakeland 81-65 in Minocqua.
