Indoor farmers market

An indoor farmers market is held at the YMCA of the Northwoods in Rhinelander on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon throughout the winter. “The market gives the community the opportunity to purchase locally produced items,” said Marilyn Duschl of the YMCA. “Depending on weekly vendor attendance, products being sold may include chicken eggs, carrots, potatoes, beets, mushrooms, jams, jellies, salsa, sauces, relish & pickles, and honey. Two vendors are now offering gluten-free breads, cookies, cakes, bagels, and dog treats. In addition, homemade breads and cakes are being sold. Vendors, depending on the week, include Bake Me Happy, Forest Preserves, Hofrichter Farms, Almond & Berry, and Finn & Flour Farms.
