Shirley Ann (Dums) Witmer

Shirley Ann (Dums) Witmer, age 82, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2024 surrounded by family.

The daughter of Carl and Lucille (Hahn) Dums, she was born on June 10, 1941 in Park Falls. She married Glenn Witmer on July 1, 1961, and they were blessed with 62 years of marriage. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn; four daughters: Beverly (Brian) Henkel, Bonnie (Thomas) Cyganek, Amy (Michael) Klementz, and Angela (Christopher) Justman; one son: Glenn (Macedom); seven grandchildren: Nicholas (Haley) Cyganek, Tyler (Jessica) Henkel, Alex (Dana) Henkel, Zachary (Abby) Klementz, Benjamin Klementz, Taylor Justman and Teague Justman; and by four great-grandsons: Graham, Connor, Watson and Lowell Henkel.  Her first great-granddaughter is due to arrive in April.

She is further survived by five siblings: Mary (Larry “Sam”) Beilke, Raymond (Geraldine) Dums, Marge (John) Tervo, Rick (Karen) Dums and Darlene “Dolly” (Jeff) Tapplin; one sister-in-law Darlene (Stan) Hein; and by nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant niece, Tammy.

Per her wishes, there will be no services.

“There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in my heart.”
