RHS students collect over 600 pairs of jeans

The Rhinelander High School FBLA/DECA club has announced its 2023-2024 Jeans for Teens drive has come to an end.

“We have collected over 600 pairs of jeans this year!,” the students announced in a press release. “The jeans will be donated to Frederick Place in downtown Rhinelander. There the jeans that are in better condition will be used by the residents and the jeans that are a little torn up will be used as rags and for cleaning purposes. This was the ninth year of the Jeans for Teens drive and we would like to thank everyone in the Rhinelander community and surrounding areas who participated in the Jeans for Teens drive. Over the past month our chapter has been collecting jeans throughout the entire community and would like to thank the following businesses for being a drop-off location site: YMCA, Maurice’s, Bath and Body Creations, Al a Mode, Rhinelander Public Library, and the public schools. From the bottom of our hearts FBLA\DECA would like to sincerely thank you for all of your participation in this project. We could not have had the amazing success we did without the help of the area businesses and all those who donated.”
