Rhinelander Swim Club hosts home meet

The Rhinelander Swim Club hosted a Northern Lakes Aquatic Conference meet at the Heck Family Community Pool Saturday, Dec. 7. 

Three other teams were in attendance, including Lakeland and Antigo.

Hodag BMX-mas race

A small, but hearty, contingent of Hodag BMX Club members turned out Saturday, Dec. 7 for the club’s fourth annual BMX-mas race. Unlike last year, when a lack of snow made things look like a normal race, Saturday’s snowy and slushy conditions had riders scrambling to get their bikes across the finish line by any means necessary. In addition to one heat of normal racing, the club put on a number of games for the participants. It was the final official club activity for the 2024 racing season. The riders will return when the snow has gone away next spring.
