Public invited to 4-H Youth Robotics Festival
The public is invited to attend the Oneida County 4-H Youth Robotics Festival from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 21, at the Northwoods Center at Nicolet Area Technical College in Rhinelander.
The event is free and will feature Oneida County 4-H robotics teams from Three Lakes and Rhinelander, organizers said in a press release. During the event, 4-H members will showcase their team models, talk about their season and receive awards. In addition, Oneida County 4-H youth leaders will be offering science activities for youth of all ages, and information about 4-H will be available.
Oneida County 4-H partnered with FIRST Lego League to introduce science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to youth in grades 4-8 through fun hands-on learning and to offer opportunities for students to develop life skills.
