City of Rhinelander public works employees got an early start on Wednesday morning, Dec. 4, 2024, clearing the downtown area following the first real snowfall of the season. Snowfall reports ranged from 2-to-3 inches in Oneida County as of early Wednesday afternoon, according to National Weather Service data.
