Cassian fire

A residence on Rocky Run Road in the Town of Cassian was destroyed by fire on Saturday, Nov. 30. According to a post on the Little Rice Fire Department Facebook page, the structure was fully engulfed when crews from the Cassian, Nokomis and Little Rice fire departments were dispatched to the scene. Oneida County Medic 4, sheriff’s deputies and the Little Rice Canteen also responded. The structure was unoccupied. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, the post states.
