Downtown Duck Dash set for Sept. 7

Get ready to “quack up” at the third annual Downtown Duck Dash Sept. 7 in Downtown Rhinelander.

For the third year Downtown Rhinelander Inc is partnering with the Boys & Girls Club of the Northwoods to host this fundraiser event.

“You can help support these two organizations by ‘adopting’ a duck and getting your tickets today!” organizers said in a press release. “The plastic ducks will race down Brown Street at 1 p.m. The owner of the winning duck will win $1,000 cash! Second and third place will also win prizes. Don’t miss your chance to adopt a duck and race to win while supporting Downtown Rhinelander Inc. (DRI) and the Boys & Girls Club of the Northwoods.”

 Tickets are available at CT’s Deli, the Rhinelander Chamber, through the Boys & Girls Club and at other downtown businesses.

The Rhinelander Chalkfest event will also take place on Sept. 7. 

The Downtown Duck Dash is sponsored by Frasier’s Plumbing & Heating, L&M Fleet Supply and CT’s Deli. The water for the Duck Dash is supplied by the fire department.
