RHS Sports recap: Monday, Aug. 19

Girls’ tennis: Rhinelander 0-3, Bay Port Invite

The Rhinelander High School girls’ tennis team opened the season Monday with three close losses in the Bay Port Invite in the greater Green Bay Area. 

Rhinelander opened the day with a 4-3 loss to the hosting Pirates, then fell 5-2 to Appleton North and 4-3 to Marshfield. Individual match results had not been received by the River News as the time of this post. 

Rhinelander (0-3) plays three more matches at Bay Port on Tuesday.
