Rhinelander’s Rod Olson, third from left, recently competed in the 3-Event Waterski State competition in Oconomowoc and regional competition in Wilmington, Ill.
The three events include jump, trick and slalom skiing. Olson finished as the Midwest Regional overall champion, Men’s 5 jump champion, Wisconsin State overall champion, and finished the season ranked fifth nationally in men's 5 overall.
