Peter Michael Trzebiatowski, 88, of Sugar Camp and Wauwatosa, passed away on Friday evening, July 19, 2024, at his cabin on Columbus Lake with his family at his side.
Peter was born in Milwaukee, on January 11, 1936, to Clement and Eleanor (Meiller) Trzebiatowski. He was raised on the east side of Milwaukee and in 1954 was a graduate of Marquette High School. Peter was in the Co-Op program at Harley-Davidson where he added to his love of motorcycles and earned money towards college while attending Marquette University. He graduated in 1959 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was employed by the Falk Corp. in Milwaukee from 1959 until his retirement in 1991. Peter met his future wife in 1979 in Milwaukee, they later were married in Quebec, Canada at Visitation Catholic Church on May 10, 1980. The couple made their home in Wauwatosa and three years later welcomed a son.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wauwatosa and St. Kunegunda of Poland Catholic Church in Sugar Camp.
Peter had many interests, including being a member of the Milwaukee Model Railroad Club, Model Boat Club, Model Plane Club, Gun Club and the NRA.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, biking, watching hockey, and cross-country skiing.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marguerite, son, Jean-Pierre (Krystal) Trzebiatowski, of Three Lakes, one granddaughter, Stella Trzebiatowski, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The visitation for Peter will take place on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, at St. Kunegunda of Poland Catholic Church, located at 6895 WI-17, Sugar Camp, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Memorial Mass with Fr. Raja Birusu and Dn. Al Goodrich officiating.
Inurnment will be held at a later date in the church cemetery.
Peter leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, son, granddaughter, and daughter-in-law.
