Janet Arlis Miller

Our dear mother, Janet A. Miller sadly passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. She was born in Barrington, Ill. to Keith and Stella Egerton on Aug. 3, 1932.

She was married to William “Bill” Miller on November 28, 1952.

She owned and operated White Cross Bakery with her husband in Dundee, Ill. and Custom Cakes Unlimited in Sugar Camp.

Janet and Bill moved to Sugar Camp in 1977, after years of spending summers with their boys at Sam’s Outpost on Indian Lake.

She loved living on the lake, playing golf and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Miller, her parents, and brother, Donald Egerton. 

Janet is survived by her sons, Mark (Deborah) Miller of Colorado Springs, and Mike (Cindy) Miller of Wabeno, her five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

A graveside memorial will be held at a later date.
