Northwoods Nordic Ski Club to hold annual meeting tonight
The Northwoods Nordic Ski Club will hold its annual membership meeting this evening, Tuesday, April 9, at the Pizza Haven in Rhinelander. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
“All members are invited to join us as we socialize and enjoy some pizza,” the club stated in announcing the meeting. “During this meeting we will briefly review the past season and discuss preparations for next year’s season, including nominations and elections for next year’s Board of Directors.”
Established in 1983, the club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides financial and coaching support to the Hodag high school and middle school Nordic ski teams and the Sno-Dags youth skiing program, as well as maintaining roughly 30 kilometers of ski trails at Rhinelander High School, Northwood Golf Club and at the Cedric A. Vig Outdoor Classroom.
“We have several openings for the Board of Directors,” the release stated. “Please consider joining the Board to share your ideas and input! If you or anyone you know would like to participate on the Board, introduction will take place at the meeting.”
