A call to America — greatness or weakness

To the Editor:

Where today is the America of 1776? Where is America in 2024? Remember when school prayer was outlawed by the Supreme Court in 1962? The next year, the Supreme Court outlawed Bible reading in schools and no posting of God’s 10 commandments in school or public buildings. What has this done to America?  (1) Declining scholastic aptitude test scores, (2) rise in violent crime in schools and on the streets of America, (3) rise of sexually transmitted diseases, (4) rise of unwed pregnancies and abortions (over 50 million), (5) increasing divorce rates (6) fatherless homes (7) military declining, etc. etc.

When a Christian nation (as America claims to be) turns our back on God our Creator, all the above plus more will be the result. Today more than ever we need the clergy in our churches to get into the battle and lead us in the fight for survival as a Constitutional Republic America. No more sitting back and waiting for the last days to come (they might be soon or maybe not soon — only God knows that last day)!

We all need to pray for all our leaders in Washington, Wisconsin and Oneida County, pray for each other and our families, get politically active, take stands against abortion and get God back into the schools as is the heritage given to us from God and the founders of our great Republic.

Please vote the Bible in our upcoming elections. Ask God for His leading too guide us in our voting and once again restore American to greatness.
