Rita Webster

Rita Catherine (Polzin) Webster, age 72 of Rhinelander, was called to her heavenly home on September 19, 2023. She was born to Erwin and Agnes (Fuchs) Polzin on Dec. 23, 1950, In Rhinelander.

Rita was a lifelong member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and graduated from Zion’s grade school.

She was a 1969 graduate of Rhinelander High School and worked at Forth Floral before starting her position with Printpack/Daniels where she worked for over 47 years.

Rita loved to garden, paint, play piano, fish, and travel to sites around Lake Superior with her children.

Surviving are her children Kevin, Katherine, and Kristopher (Alicia) Webster, her granddaughter Grace Webster, her two sisters Carol (Miles) Holets and Nancy (Ned) Kleinke, her brother David (Connie) Polzin, and her sister-in-law Cindy (Bruce) Collins. 

She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and her brother, Robert.

A visitation for Rita will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 10 to 11 a.m. with a service following at 11 a.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. Pastor Karl Schultz will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Northland Memorial Park Cemetery. You may leave your private condolences for the Webster family at www.carlsonfh.com.
