Christine Ann Tolsted Tummett

Christine Ann Tolsted Tummett, age 52, passed away peacefully in her home in Minneapolis, Minn. on September 14, 2023.

She was born on April 23, 1971 in LaCrosse.

She graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1989 and then attended the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. She later obtained her massage therapy license and esthetician license.

Christine loved fishing with her son, Ryder, and her dad. Christine was artistic. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, rock hunting along the shores of Lake Superior, gardening, cooking, and repurposing vintage jewelry into artwork.

Christine is survived by her son, Ryder Nelson Tummett, her mother, Bernice Tolsted, her father, David Tolsted, sister-in-law Kara (Haugom) Tolsted, family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Tolsted.

A visitation for Christine will be held on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with memorial services following at 12:30 p.m., all at the Carlson Funeral Home in Rhinelander.
