Carol Kay Vanderplaats

Carol Kay Vanderplaats, age 75, of Rhinelander, died on Sept. 17, 2023, at her home. She was born on April 28, 1948, in Rhinelander, the daughter of Lester and Melva (Bishop) Clure.

She is survived by her husband Gerald "Jerry" Vanderplaats, her daughter Rebecca (Kevin) Perkins, her granddaughter Amber (Aaron) Castellano, her sister Lynette (Kenneth) Kaminski and nieces and nephews. 

A visitation for Carol will be held on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023 from 10 a.m. to noon with prayers following at noon, at the Carlson Funeral Home.
