Quentin “Marty” Martin

Quentin “Marty” Martin, age 77 and formerly of Rhinelander passed away on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023 at Hillside Hospice in Randolph.

Quentin was born on July 9, 1946, in Phillips, to Quentin and Virginia (Stibs) Martin.

After graduation, Quentin served in the Army in the 101st Airborne.  After serving, he met and married Ayleen Dierking on December 28, 1968.  He started working for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and they moved to Rhinelander in 1979 and he continued with the DOT until retirement.

Quentin enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.  

Quentin is survived by his daughter Stacy (Mark) McBride of Fox Lake, his grandchildren Mikayla, Cherek and Deirdra; his great-grandchildren Izabella, Kaeden, Taeya, Michael, Owen and Quinn and other family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Ayleen, his son David and his brother, Gary.  

A private family service will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park at a later date.
