PHOTOS: Stuck between two seasons

With the fall sports season done for most Rhinelander High School athletes, and the start of winter practices still a week or two away, several athletes are looking to get a head start on their winter sport seasons. 

That was the case Wednesday, Oct. 25 as members of the RHS boys’ hockey team held a players-only captains’ practice at the Rhinelander Ice Arena and members of the RHS girls’ basketball team were in the Jim Miazga Community Gymnasium for an open gym session. 

The first official practice of the winter for both the Hodag hockey and Hodag girls’ basketball teams will be held Monday, Nov. 6.
