The annual YMCA of the Northwoods “Not So Scary” Halloween event attracted a wide variety of costumed characters Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023. Pictured: A dinosaur duo hurriedly make their way to the Stoney Pines trail behind the Y for the “not so scary” trick-or-treating opportunity. Local children had another trick-or-treating opportunity Saturday afternoon, Oct. 28, in downtown Rhinelander. City-wide trick-or-treating is scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 p.m. today.
