ArtStart’s annual Holiday Market returns in November
ArtStart in Rhinelander will host its annual Holiday Market Friday Nov. 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Mirroring the traditional open-air markets of northern Europe, shoppers can enjoy live music by local musicians Andrea & Nate Sheppard, delicious baked goods to savor on-site or to take home donated by the GFWC Rhinelander Woman’s Club, while viewing artisan works by the artists themselves, organizers said in a press release.
“As we enter the holiday, gift-giving season we want area artists to have a venue to showcase their work,” explained Rene Iannarelli, fiber artist and chair of the event. “This market is the ideal place to find just that special something for someone on your gift list.
Available for purchase are unique, hand-crafted works including jewelry, pottery, fiber arts, watercolor art, and more. Featured artists include Donna Welhoefer, Kathy Furda, Colleen Ansbaugh, Bill Kingsbury, Toni Bergeon, Nancy Pierce, Johanna Buwalda, Rob Hom, Sarah Thompson, Emma Lapine, Bill McKenzie, and Monti Mayrend.
Holiday wreaths and greens baskets will also be for sale.
Everyone is welcome and there is no admission fee.
