All sophomores, juniors, and seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher were invited to apply for NHS based on their already demonstrated scholarship. “An extensive application was filled out by each candidate, highlighting their experience in all other pillars,” according to advisor Megan Cihla.“Once inducted into NHS, students organize and take part in community service projects monthly. Some of the big projects we are excited for this year include: our literacy program (books to all first graders in our district, cans for the humane society, bingo in nursing homes, and so much more.”
