Dance Lesson

Mexican folk artist Alejandra Jimenez teaches fifth-grade students a traditional dance Tuesday morning, Oct. 17. 2023, in the Central Elementary School gymnasium. The lesson was part of this year’s Culture Tap program. Students also made clay statues and yarn dolls and played Loteria, Mexican-style bingo, as part of the program. The lunch offerings on Tuesday also included Mexican-themed cuisine. The program ended with a celebration that included the breaking of pinatas.
