Terry Michael Webster

Terry Michael Webster, 72, passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Center in Tomahawk on Thursday, October 12, 2023, with his companion, Cathy, and his sister, Sukey, by his side.

Terry was born in Rhinelander on March 9, 1951, to Morris and Dorothy (Juetten) Webster. He was raised and lived in Rhinelander his whole life.

Terry graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1969. He attended U.W. Whitewater, graduating in 1974 with a bachelor’s degree in finance. While attending the university, he was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.

Upon his graduation, Terry returned to Rhinelander and joined his father in operating Webster Oil Company.

Terry was fun-loving and made friends wherever he was! He loved animals and over the years raised many dogs and cats. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed hunting, fishing in Canada with his good friend, Tom Long, and snowmobiling.

Survivors include Cathy Rappley, daughter Jodi Webster, Susan Webster, a sister, Carol “Sukey” (Bruce) Ginzl and many cousins. He is further survived by his niece and nephew, Heidi and Michael (fiancé, Rebecca) and great-niece and great-nephews, Jakson, Lauren and Ashton.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Terry’s family would like to give a HUGE “shoutout” to the wonderful, and caring staff at Riverview Health Center and the doctors, nurses, and staff at Ascension Hospital/Rhinelander Aspirus Hospital for the care he received through the years.

Per Terry’s wishes, there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Like the deer that yearn for the flowing streams.
