William “Bill” V. Buesching

William “Bill” V. Buesching, age 67, passed away peacefully on Sept. 22, 2023 at Nu Roc Health and Rehabilitation Center in Laona. He was born in Sacramento, Calif. on Sept. 4, 1956 to Neil and Anita Buesching.

Bill had a zest for life despite a car accident in his early 20s that left him with permanent disabilities. Once Bill could live independently, Bill loved spending his days walking, fishing, and watching his favorite TV shows (most of them oldies) and any type of sport. Bill was great at reciting statistics. He was always up to date with sports as well as the world news. Bill was fascinated with trivia books he received as gifts and relished in sharing all the weird and wacky ones. Bill loved his family and never hesitated to let you know.  

Bill spent the last few years of his life at Nu Roc Rehabilitation and Nursing Home after a fall. Bill led a very different life from what most of us are used to and will be greatly missed by his surviving family and friends. May he now rest in peace.  

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Neil and Anita Buesching. Bill is survived by his three sisters, Jody Mullen, Cheryl Johnson and Karen (Buck) Eckert, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. 

The family has chosen to celebrate his life privately.
