Rhinelander Area Community Band announces free concert Dec. 2

Members of the Rhinelander Area Community Band would like to give a Christmas gift to the Northwoods: a free concert of holiday music on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 3 p.m. The event will be held at Pine Grove Community Church, 1360 North Stevens Street, the group announced in a press release. Many familiar carols will be included in the program, as well as other holiday favorites. Playing a Christmas concert has become an annual tradition for the all-volunteer band, which is under the direction of Marilyn Pekol.
