Tammy Lynn Kecker

Tammy Lynn Kecker, age 63, of Sugar Camp, died on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at her home. She was born in Sparta, to Harold and Naomi (Jackson) Cook, on January 11, 1960.

Tammy attended schools in Rhinelander and graduated from Rhinelander High School. After high school she worked for Schultz’s, Peterson Health Care and then was employed at Walmart for 35 years. She enjoyed all the people that she worked with those 35 years and made many friends along the way.

Tammy enjoyed gardening and crocheting in her spare time with her two dogs Odie and Jake by her side. She loved her family dearly but her grandchildren were her life and she would have welcomed a great-grandchild in May.

Tammy is survived by her husband Robert “Randy”, daughter Heather (Larry “Pudgy”) Melton, son Robert (Amanda) Kecker, grandchildren Isaac (Rylee) Kecker, Taylor Kecker, Cameron Kecker, Paige Kecker, and Jordyn Kecker, in-laws Arletta Kecker, Bobby Kecker, Curt and Becky Kecker, Mike and Debbie Kecker, Peggy Marquardt, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, stepdaughter Misty Kecker and sister Gloria Laack.

Visitation for Tammy was held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 10 a.m. until noon with memorial services following at noon all at the Carlson Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Town of Sugar Camp Cemetery. You may leave your private condolences for the Kecker family at www.carlsonfh.com.
