Rhinelander Chamber announces nomination period for annual awards

Each year, at the annual Awards Gala & Fundraiser, the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce (RACC) celebrates area businesses and individuals for their impact on the Rhinelander community.

 The nomination period for the annual awards is now open.

“The purpose of these awards is to identify, honor and reinforce the contributions that are positively impacting the Rhinelander area,” RACC CEO Lauren Sackett said in a press release. “There is so much to celebrate about the Rhinelander community, which is why each year we honor area businesses and individuals in 8 award categories and host the Top 10 Under 40 Awards.”

The Annual Awards categories include: Small Business Excellence Award, Business Excellence Award, Community Service Award, Community Enhancement Award, Company Culture Excellence Award, Entrepreneurial Achievement Award, Community Volunteer of the Year and the Spirit of the Hodag Award.

Nominations are also being accepted for the Top 10 Under 40 Awards. Each year, 10 young adults are honored and recognized for making a difference where we live.

Nominations will be accepted through Nov. 22.

 A judges panel will review all nominations and the winners will be announced at the Annual Awards Gala & Fundraiser on Jan. 25, 2024. Details on that event will be announced soon.
