Fern L. Kreuser

Fern L. Kreuser, age 89, of Rhinelander, died on October 27, 2023, at the Friendly Village Nursing Home in Rhinelander. She was born on August 17, 1934, in Omro, the daughter of Walter and Betsy (Thompson) Koepke.

She attended schools in Omro and graduated from Omro High School. She moved to the Rhinelander area in the mid 1980s, then to Red Granite, and then returned to Rhinelander. 

She enjoyed gardening and sewing.

Fern is survived by her sons Brian Gutche and Wayne (Rosemary) Gutche, her stepsons Clint (Denise) Kreuser and Joseph (Julia) Kreuser and her stepdaughter Angela (Jerry) Costabile, grandchildren Brittany, Taylor and Tanner and great-grandchild, Myla. 

She was preceded in death by her husbands Harold Gutche and Melvin Kreuser, her sister June and her brothers Glen, Lee and Ira. 

She was deeply loved by her family and will be missed. 

Visitation for Fern will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Carlson Funeral Home.
