Greg married Teresa Schatzel in 1974 in Wayne, Pennsylvania. They were blessed with two daughters and two sons. During this time, Greg worked as a genetic engineer for Frito Lay and was transferred to the Northwoods.
Later, he became a successful and well-liked realtor. Many of his clients became his good friends.
Greg married Barbara Sass on May 17, 2003, on Lake Superior aboard their sailboat "Beata." Together, Greg and Barb were passionate about travel, sailing, gardening, cooking and entertaining friends, and living on the farm with dogs and chickens.
In his younger years, Greg enjoyed fly fishing and grouse hunting, being outdoors and hiking with his family. He then fell in love with training for cross country ski races and triathlons. In 1990, he met his goal of skiing in one of the largest races in America, the American Birkebeiner.
Greg is survived by his loving wife Barbara, his four children Heather (Mike) Lisitza, Brent Yoder, Timothy Yoder, and Natalie Yoder, his five grandchildren Dylan, Addison, Elias, Gage, and Lena, his mother Kathryn Ardell Yoder, and his sister Claudia Caldwell. He rejoins his loved ones and is now reunited with his father Paul W. Yoder, his grandson Maverick, and his beloved dogs Beata, Brittany and Brewster.
