Rhinelander area third-graders enjoyed a fun summer safety lesson Friday, May 12, 2023 as the YMCA of the Northwoods hosted the fifth annual Recreation Rodeo. The Rec Rodeo is a collaboration between Rhinelander Partners in Education and other supporting organizations and individuals. It includes bike safety, aquatics, martial arts/self-defense and hiking and backpacking. The young cyclists pictured here are taking on the bike safety course where they were taught to "look both ways".
